5 I was surprised to get your letter just now. Miss Greene at
6Campher’s Kraal yesterday. Am so glad it’s settled so far about
7your going there. Sorry you haven’t sold your ground. Drs say
8Neta’s case is quite hopeless no use operating she can only live a
9few months. I don’t know what it is but my hearts bad. Had to lie
10down all Saturday & Sunday. Went out this morning to see another Dr
11with Neta. He says they ought to operate it will lengthen her life
12though the thing will grow again. Cron was chairman of a political
13meeting when my wire was brought him

15^saying what this doctor said of Neta & he says he’s never had such a
16bad turn since he read suddenly of his brother’s death. ^
