5 I have written begging John M Robinson to try & spend a few days here
6with us before he goes. If you & Miss Green shared one room they would
7take you at the hotel here for £16 a month eight pounds each. Perhaps
8if he does come up you might come up with him, but I fear he won’t
9be able to come.

11 I am not very fit, no asthma but my heart troubling me much. Please be
12sure to return me the closed letter from Mr Russell. This is the South
13African Progressive & English gentleman. Return it please. I want it.
