Dear Friend

I have written begging John M Robinson to try & spend a few days here
with us before he goes. If you & Miss Green shared one room they would
take you at the hotel here for £16 a month eight pounds each. Perhaps
if he does come up you might come up with him, but I fear he won’t
be able to come.

I am not very fit, no asthma but my heart troubling me much. Please be
sure to return me the closed letter from Mr Russell. This is the South
African Progressive & English gentleman. Return it please. I want it.

Good bye
