Dear Fan

Please let me know how Nell gets on. We had a very cool Xmas day here,
the coolest I’ve ever known – but it won’t rain. Will you,
please, if you can remember it, send me the name in full of that
Electric flesh brush Will used to have long ago. I want to order one
from England; as the doctor says I must use it but can’t remember
the name of the makers. There are some kinds very good & some very bad:
that was a good one.

Love to Kittie & all the dear folk.
Olive

I consider it a promise that you & Ollie will come in the the winter!
I am going to paint the whole of my verandah in honour of your coming,
so you can’t disappoint me.

Cron’s mother & sister would be so delighted if you went to see them.
I think they don’t quite know whether to consider that visit you
paid with me as a "call" or not. They are very quiet reserved people &
go out very little, but I’m sure you would like them both. The
mother is really a grand old woman whom one respects more the more one
knows her. Did I tell you that my dear old friends the Browns are
coming to South Africa next week.

Just jot the name of the brush on a card if too busy to write.
