done for I wrote to them about it while I was in town & twice since)
would you give ?David the enclosed 2/- & some day when he has a little
time let him take it into town to them. The shop is the South African
Typewriter Company Adderley Street All is going on quietly with us &
there’s no news. I haven’t yet been once into Kimberley or in fact
out of my front door since we arrived. I am getting my little cottage
into good order, & am going to plant a few roses. I can never thank
you enough dear for all your kindness to me when I was in town. I’m
but a poor sort of visitor to have now-a-days. Did you get the table
napkins I sent all right?

My love to you all
Olive
