5out. I feel sometimes so depressed at the thought I may never be able
6to earn anything again. But it is no use to break one’s heart over a
7future that may or may not come. One must live just day by day.
8Sometimes I think if you & Miss Greene came out here & started a
9school at Hanover I might give geography & history lectures to the big
10girls lying down, & in that earn something, but Hanover is not the
11place for a big school. Miss Vijoen wants to sell her house the nicest
12house in Hanover two doors from mine; but when I look at it from the
13unselfish stand points I see it would be much better for you to buy a
14farm, if ever you come out.

16I am so thankful you are both feeling pretty well. Give my love to
17dear Isabella & any of my old friends you may see.

26not going to send it to England or America.^
