Please don’t think I am very cool for troubling you about this. I
write to you, because I’m sure you’ll tell me the truth.
I feel quite sad at the thought of leaving this little house where I
have spent the happiest part of my life. I feel so afraid something
might happen to prevent our returning here.
I don’t like the International Hotel. I would like to be at one of the
Towns in the centre of the Town
^or else in Rondebosch at some hotel or boarding house^
