My dear old sister

The stockings are so fine & warm & the handkerchiefs are just what I
was needing, as all my old ones are going into holes. I knew where
your thoughts were yesterday, dear. You did give all your children a
beautiful childhood. As they grow older & older they will all realize
more & more what a dear devoted little mother they had.

Good bye, dear. We had such a happy day yesterday as happy as it could
be for us.
