Dear, I was so sorry to see you so unfit. You must get down to the sea
side for a little golf for the week-end. Hythe or Folkstone would do
you good, splendid golf. The Grand at Folkstone where Adela & her
husband always stay, is the nicest sea side hotel I’ve ever seen in
England, high on the edge of the cliff, with a splendid out look &
catching all the sun there is.

I send you a cutting from the New National. So that’s what the new
National is after?

Do drink Vichy water dear. Don’t wait till the kidneys go. If I had
taken it years ago the stone might never have formed.

Love to you my old brother

Notation
The cutting Schreiner mentions is attached and concerns a call from the Women's International League, on behalf of the International Committee of Women for Permanent Peace, for contributions to an Emergency Fund in order to provide 'one million india-rubber teats for starving German babies'.
