Dear, I’ve just got your letter thanks so much for it. I’m sending
this to Anna’s care as I don’t know where you will be you tell me
nothing of your plans.

Write soon address – Poste Restante Florence.

I am there now. I have been ill since I got here & wish I had never
left my beloved Alassio but I’m trying to find drier quarters in the
higher part of the city, & then perhaps shall be able to stay on here.
Carlonis treatment seems good for the heart. I would like to try it
for a couple of months. The climate here is terrible at this time of
year Cold white mist & fog shuts you in like a wet sheet. But they say
it will improve in a couple of weeks
