Dear Friend

I posted a card to you yesterday, but have your card today saying you
have left Nels’ Poort I am so sorry you couldn’t come here. I’m
sure you would have been happy!! Do tell Alice you & she must come &
visit me when you’ve got used to being at Dube’s. I’m so glad
you find Africa so nice. I hunger so for Europe. If anything takes you
to Muizenberg, go & see my little friend Mrs Alexander. She lives at
Kimberley Villa, on the point just where at Baleys little house stands
on the point. Its next the English Church you can’t miss it if you
walk along the road towards St Jame's. She’s very lonely, & just
going to have a third little Baby in a few weeks. You’ll find her
sympathetic on the native question.

Good bye, dear one. Go & see my friend Mrs John Brown too if you have
time & "the spirit moves you" She lives now at 2 Glebe Terrace, but is
soon moving to a new house at Rose Bank.

Please give my love to dear Mrs Murray. I seem not to have seen you at all
Olive
