Dear Mrs Murray

May I write to trouble you with a few questions. When you went to the
Falls did you go in the ordinary excursion? Are they very crowded
generally? Do they allow you to get your box out of the van on the
way? There will be four of us in one compartment so we can’t take
many things in.

Must Must one take warm or light clothes to wear up there? I think it
was about this time of year went when you went up – or was it in
August?

Please forgive my troubling you with these questions but I don’t
know any one else who has been there. How long do we stay at the falls,
& how long at Bulawayo? Only one day at each?

Yours ever
Olive Schreiner

^Do you get decent food in the train or is it all tinned stuff. There
is ?quarters of milk all over the country now, but I believe they are
using tinned milk as some places in some of the trains now. You could
get gallons of milk here at 2d a bottle.^

^I’m so sorry to trouble you with all these questions.^
