Dear Fan,

Old Man Will passed here, yesterday. Train only stopped three minutes.
Am at Matjesfontein alone. The air is doing me good; but I shall be
glad if Cron is elected & I can get down to Sea Point for a few days.
One longs for the sea air. Cron is away at Prince Albert &c, & will be
electioneering for another week.
