5 Thank you for your beautiful beautiful gift. I will keep it to wear on
6board ship, in case I am able to go out to Africa then - but it is
7doubtful I just live on from day to day.

9I send you Mrs Stuarts letter about my brothers death - please return
10it to me. I send also cuttings I have been in bed for eight days with
11continual attacks of angina as soon as I try to move I am better
12to-day, & have dressed this afternoon, & hope soon to be better. Much
13love to dear Daisy when you write I do hope your sisters condition is
14not serious.

16 Good bye my dear dear friend. How glad I shall be if we can ever meet
17again My nephews baby was born a week ago but I have not been able to
18go & see it.
