Dear,

I am so glad our little Peter has arrived safely. I am very anxious
for fuller news of you & am writing to ask Mrs Innes to tell me all
she can. I wonder what he's like, & if you had a quick time, & it will
be so long before you ought to write a letter that I must hear from
Jessie Innes.

He came just on new years day, eh? I would give anything to see him &
hold him in my arms. I do love those tiny babies so

Good bye my darling.

Yours ever & ever
Olive

PS That was a splendid letter of Mr Sauer's signed in the Argus,
signed ^A^ Liberal. I wrote to half a dozen people to find out who it
was by. I thought a new & brilliant political genius was appearing on
our horizon. It's so clear & straight & every time knocks the right
nail in the head.
