3I fear you will find me a very bad correspondent.

5I dislike letter writing so much, but I am often thinking of you all
6at Fraserberg, & wishing to see you.

8Dear Alice is here this afternoon, she is looking very well & strong &
9Fred seems to me to be growing every day.

11I am leaving on Monday morning for Matjesfontein. If you write to me
12please address C/O J Logan Esq Matjesfontein. It will not be so very
13far from Frazerburg, & I hope to make a run of a few days up to you
14before I leave Africa.
