6Many thanks for your letter, & for the cards which Mother sent over to
7me from Grahamstown. I hope you have all had a glad new year. It must
8have been a great joy to you to see Fred & Alice again. Did you find
9them much changed? I should greatly like to see you all & must try &
10pay Fraserburg a visit before I return to England.
