A 28 August 1914 date has been written on this letter in two different unknown hands. The letter is on printed headed notepaper. Schreiner was resident at Kensington Palace Mansions from October 1914 to July 1915 and thus was not there in August in either year, and therefore the approximate dating of the letter.
