Dear Friend,

Isabella Ford has told me how very ill & suffering your dear Husband
is. Give him my love & tell him how often I think of him. I would you
were so near that I could sometimes see him. He has done so much for
the cause we all have at heart, that the tender thoughts of hundreds
will be with him in his great suffering.

Accept my love & sympathy for your self
