I had a letter from Edith by this post. It’s beautifully written &
quite clear, but not quite herself. I wish I could see you to talk
about some things I can’t write about I could meet you nearly any
time in London if you let me know in time. I have to go to Crowborough
on Tuesday & shall not be back till Wednesday or Thursday.

If Sunday Saturday suited you I could meet you in the entrance hall at
Lyone’s big new pal place just below Charing Cross Station, (more
towards Trafalgar Sq where all the buses stop at 10 clock If I don’t
hear you I shall know you will not be there.
