3Oh my baby isn’t coming, & I put on my clean blue dress & did my
4hair. I got some rumpsteak & I’ve just been out & got half a cold
5lovely watermelon. I thought I’d I feed a hot baby with it, but now
6he hasn’t come. I shan’t put on my clean blue dress tomorrow, & I
7shan’t do my hair! Are you ill, “heart-aar”? Why didn’t you
8come? I would have liked so if you had. I got up early & got a heap of
9work done that I might be quite clear.
