6Dear Mr Unwin
7
8I had hoped to come & see you before I left England, but was unable to
9do so. I have a volume about which I hope to write to you shortly.
10
11At present I write to know whether you would care to look at a novel
12by my friend Dr Henry Philpot. It is exceedingly careful & finished in
13style, & I would feel glad if you could give it careful consideration.
14If you care to see it, would you kindly drop Dr Philpot a line to that
15effect.
1613 South Eaton Place.
17SW.
18He was for a long time Editor of the Medical Times & has had
19consi-derable literary experience.
20
21I hope our friend Mr Norman is getting on well. I have never been able
22to hear any news of him since he left.
23
24I have been too ill to think of any work lately, but hope soon to be
25in full swing again.
26
27Yours faithfully
28Olive Schreiner
