Dear Mr Hunt

Thank you for all the trouble you have so kindly taken in writing. I
enclose the cheque for the balance of the passage money. I shall be
sending up my boxes early next week. Thank you very much for saying
you would see they were all right. I shall sleep on Friday night in
London to be ready to start by the 11. express for Southampton. If
friends go with me, do they get their tickets from you, or at the
railway station? I am very sorry you are not going to Southampton this week.

Could you kindly send me a plan of the Dunottar Castle, as I want to
show my Brother where my cabin is.

I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs Hunt’s throat. I do hope she will
try to get away this winter if only to Switzerland. If the doctor’s
think Darvos would be good for her, I have two most delightful friends
staying there a young ?L Captain & his wife both of whom suffer in the
throat just as Mrs Hunt does, & I know they would both
^
do all they could to keep her from feeling lonely if she visits.
Please let me know if at any time she should think of going & I will
write to them.

Yours sincerely
