Dear Mrs de Villiers

Thank you so much for your letter. My health is so uncertain I might
not be able to come on the 29th & now Mrs Steyn is in town it seems to
me it would be so good if you asked her to open it. So many would be
anxious to come to meet her, & perhaps see the President; who
certainly to my mind is the man who played the most heroic part in the
war, where many played such noble parts. If I am still in town I shall
certainly come, if at all able to see the exhibition

Yours very sincerely
