The date of this postcard is provided by the postmark, and the name of the addressee and the address it was sent to are on its front. Schreiner returned from Cape Town to De Aar in early May 1905. There is a portrait of Henrik Ibsen on the front of the card, at the bottom of which Schreiner has written her message.
