Dear Will

The long lists in the papers seem to petrify one. Do let me know if
you have any news. The last I had was from Dot two weeks ago when she
told me she had a post card. Even if one hears its not much good,
because by the time one gets the letter or card its at least three
days old, but its something.

I hope you are keeping as fit as may be. The weather here continues
damp, oppressive, & chill. The air seems to me full of oppressive
gases.

Good bye dear old man
