Dear old Man

Thank you for your letter which only came by the last post yesterday.
Thanks for the gift, dear. I will spend on on massage & the doctor.
But you have now so many calls upon you, you ought hardly to sent it.

I heard what a wicked old baby you had been, first freezing your feet
& then putting them into hot water; it might really have been very
very serious for one with your unsatisfactory circulation. I am still
anxious to know how it goes, & hope Dot will send me a Post Card.

My dear boy Jack, left me on Thursday. I had a letter from him to-day
saying he has quite made up his mind to go to the Cape as soon as the
war is over, & I must please try to make arrangements for his going
onto a farm there. I should like him to stay for a year on some good
farm before he buys any ground for himself.

Don’t over work dear if you can help it. I do wish you could have
massage from such a wonderful person as I’ve got. She only comes
twice a week, but the relief she gives me is wonderful.

I’m afraid I can’t come tomorrow, but ^the^ next Sunday I hope I
shall be flourishing.

Thank you dear old Man for your loving words, your old little sister
