9Can’t come today as I had seven teeth out yesterday & am going to have
104 more tomorrow.

12They were quite sound & hard in the jaw but there was infected
13inflammation behind in the jaw. I have undergone it in hope of
14diminishing the internal pains which I suffer in kidney & intestine.

16I shall try to get out to Wales as soon as I can but it may be some
17time now.

19Miss Hobhouse came in to see me for a few minutes yesterday. She had
20all her teeth drawn last summer though the teeth were quite sound. You
21would not know her if you saw her: she is now quite strong & well.
