My darling Boy
I hope I didn’t worry you by the letter I posted yesterday which you
will get with this. Laddie, I have set my heart so on your forming a
centre round which the enlightened & liberal elements can gather. You
do understand why I write?
I am always thinking of you & wondering how it goes; though in general
I have a very good idea, I fancy how it will go!
You will make many good friends which to me is always one of the main
things in life; & Fan will have a great deal of pleasure brought into
her life by the visit – that’s good any how. Tell me how it goes
with our Dot.
