6 I am hoping to get that letter from Madiera! I do hope my darling
7little sister you will have a really good time in London. I have been
8too ill to write to all the friends I wanted you to meet but perhaps
9shall be able to write next week.

11 Tell Dot to take you a bit to the East End to see life there. Its the
12most interesting part of London.

14 I hope you will see Alice Corthorn.

16 Please write to me just a line if you can make time; but I know how
17many other letters you will have to write.

22 Did you see the notice in the S.A. News which said you had only
23accompanied will Will to England on account of the sea voyage which
24you hoped might ^benefit your health!!!^
