My darling Friend

I am so glad you are abroad & I hope you are both having a splendid
time. Go to Munich; if you’ve not been there you will be surprised &
delighted at it. The art galleries, the music, the old churches the
beautiful surroundings, the sweet simple life. How I long to see it
all again. I was so ill when I was there, yet it was so wonderful &
beautiful to me. Do go. It’s cheap too. You get better food &c. for
half the price in most other cities.

I am well & the family is well & all is as ever.
