Dear Fan

Please give me Will’s address in London, his permanent address. Did
you say it was the Colonial Institute? Or Agent General’s office or
what? I want to write him a birth day letter; but can’t till I have
his address.

Cron has gone down to Cape Town. He will be gone about ten days. He
will be staying at his brother Alfred Cronwright’s Rondebosch, so he
won’t be far from you & I know will try to come & see you. We are
all flourishing here: the cold is bitter, but it suits me. I do wish
you could some day come up & pay me a little visit. I know you’d
enjoy it.
