I am longing to hear you have both got safely to Harston, & that the
voyage will have done you both good. I know how much you will have to
think of & do both of you, but please drop me a line to say how you
are. All goes on here as ever. Three of ‘Arriets little meerkats
have got drowned only one is left. Neta is bad, but still goes for
walks & keeps up her spirits splendidly. My little Kaffir boy is a
treasure. I want so to have news of you, my dear ones.
