6 I am leaving for Balfour on Tuesday next with Mrs Lewis I will meet
7her at the station & we will go straight on to Fort Beaufort sleeping
8the first night at Cradock.

10 If you write address here & Cron will send your letter on to me if I
11am away for any time. I shall return as soon as I can to see about
12Neta’s cancer & taking her down to Cape Town I have such a hope the
13vet's will say it’s not real cancer.

15 I will write to you on the trip. It will be very beautiful to me to go
16over all the old places again where those strange intense years of my
17childhood were passed. Miss Greene will tell you how lovely the Kat
18Berg is.

20^We shall stay at Therons at the Kat-Berg Station & go about from there
21I wish I knew more of the real interest & plans of your life just now.
22I shall understand more when I come to Cape Town at the end of the
