It was so sweet of you dear, to come to say good bye to me. I’ve been
very bad the last days or would have come out. Next year when I come
I’m coming to you!!

Give my love to my old brother & "little" Will & the three. I wish you
were living up where Mrs Purcell is, then you would have too much of me.

I am c expecting to get to Hanover Rd about midday tomorrow & Cron
leaves on his election tour an hour or two after I get there.

The Government has timed it so that the War Compensation Committee
sits at Hanover from the 19th till about the 27th so it is almost
?crushing for Cron who has over 200 claims to put in for the farmers &
will therefore not be able to go about at all. I am sorry for him.
"The Progressives are smart."

^that I’ve seen so little of you. When seeing you was one of the things
