Notation
On the back of the letter is a typed note dated 16 March 1900 from W. T. Stead to Cronwright-Schreiner at 61 Chester Square, SW London, commenting that, because Stead had himself been on a speaking tour the previous year, he realised what the strain was. Stead also expressed the hope that when they met next time they would 'not quarrel about Rhodes all the time'.
