6 I wish you were with me. The air is living, the karroo is in flower &
7I am flourishing since I got past Worcester. You must let me know in
8time Will when you pass Middelburg & I’ll meet you there. We have
9many things to talk over & we couldn’t talk in Cape Town, I was too
10un-myself. Thank you for your goodness to me my old brother.

12 I send £1.5 if I can get an order at Matjesfontein. The £1 is what
13I’m sure you had to pay on my luggage. I was forgetting it was to
14Middelburg & not Matjesfontein as of old. Please buy a big box of
15crackers for old Dot on her her birthday with the 5/- Don’t She
16might go with you to choose them at Cartwrights it would be an
17additional interest.
