Darling Fan

Expect me down on the morning of the 9th or evening of the 8 ^the^
eighteenth of Nov. I’m sorry I can’t be there for my Dot’s birthday.
I’ll only be in town two days but I feel I long so to see you & the
children.

How are you my darling little sis.

Will’s note to me was not written in very high spirits, he was wishing
to start for you & the little ones, but it may be doing him good all
the same. Lady Loch & Lady Lytton & her daughter came up to spend two
days with me. It was very delightful. I send you one of Lady L’s
letters to me & one of her daughters, but don’t show them to any one,
& return
them. I love Lady Loch very much, but Lady Lytton is even
sweeter & much easier to get to know. I’m longing so to see our baby.
Good bye dearie.

Thy little sis Olive
