Dear Mr Duncan

Thank you for your letter. I’m so glad you think you’ll be able
break your journey here.

My Husband is going down to Cape Town Muizenburg tomorrow night to see
his mother who has had a stroke & is lying in that far little stone
house close to where you are at Muizenberg. He will only be there for
three days, but he will try to call on you, though I suppose you are
hardly ever at Muizenberg, with committees in the morning & evening
sittings. I was not at all surprised to hear of the ?Hiell incident. I
gave the Botha ministry two years at the shortest & five at the
longest when it started.

Yours sincerely
Olive Schreiner
