The childrens photos have not come. I hope you didn’t give them away
to someone else!!!

Cron has gone away to Hope Town to spend a few days with his dear old
mother & sister. His visit has been put off & put off because of my
not being well, but I made him go yesterday. I am always so afraid of
getting selfish & trying to keep him too much to myself & being too
happy myself & therefore thinking every body else must be happy too.
But I’m so frightened to me that I don’t think I shall go very far
that way.

A friend of Cron’s has just sent me a present of a beautiful new
Lady’s bicycle. It’s been the dream of my life to have one for years.
I can’t believe I ^really^ have one now. Cron & I are going to start
learning when he comes back. The doctor says it will be much better
for me than walking. Perhaps we shall run down to Cape Town on our
bikes some day. I’m afraid we shall not go out to England this year as
we had hope, because I’m not able to go on with my work. But we’ll go
next year, I hope.

Has Cissy Joubert come back yet? I have fine nice photos of Emma &
Charley Earp, but have not heard how they enjoyed the trip. I long so
to go about to all the places where I used to be alone with Cron.

Good bye my dear old sister. Write to me soon.
