6I’m so wonderfully better the last few days since the cold weather &
7less rain set & in. Cron says you are to come. If you bring your bike
8you & he can have splendid long rides on Saturdays & Sundays.

12^My good boy left me as he wanted higher wages than I could give.
13I’ve been for weeks with out a servant, but yesterday I got such a
14dear Zulu boy about 18, quite wild who has never worked in a house
15before & can’t speak a word of English but so quick & bright I’m
16sure you’ll like [papertorn] ^
