Dear Miss Greene
Do come in June it will be lovely. You’ll like the blue-gum trees, &
it will be such a rest to me to see you.
I’m so wonderfully better the last few days since the cold weather &
less rain set & in. Cron says you are to come. If you bring your bike
you & he can have splendid long rides on Saturdays & Sundays.
^My good boy left me as he wanted higher wages than I could give.
I’ve been for weeks with out a servant, but yesterday I got such a
dear Zulu boy about 18, quite wild who has never worked in a house
before & can’t speak a word of English but so quick & bright I’m
sure you’ll like [papertorn] ^
