This letter is written on printed headed notepaper. An unknown hand has written 'Possibly this belongs to pages already sent you ?MCS' at its bottom. Schreiner was resident at 9 Porchester Place between April 1917 and August 1920, when she returned to South Africa, and thus the date range provided. The name of its addressee cannot be established. The start of the letter is missing.
