I have today got your letter from Houw Hoek. I addressed two letters
to you & Miss Greene to Caledon thinking you were only spending a day
at Houw Hoek & going to Caledon at once. Will you write to the Post
master to send them to you, as one letter contains a letter from Mrs
Lawrence
to me which I don’t want to lose.

I am so glad it is so nice at Houw Hoek; do you think it would suit me

West which was country where I could go if necessary.

I am much better too. My dear little Kaffir is slowly learning to do

which saves me walking. I’ve been house cleaning all day, turned out
the store room & am so tired I can’t write any
