Dear Son Bill

I wish I was at de Aar to welcome you to my little house. I expect it
looks pretty dreary now, shut up all day. But it’s not so bad when
I’m there.

I hear you are to have a dance. I hope you will break no hearts: &
above all leave de Aar heart free.

Tell Uncle Cron to show you my kitty cat Boy-Boy if you go up to the
house. He’s a prince of cats. I slept at Eastcliffe last night on
the verandah with Dot. Had a splendid night, but am back again at this
hateful Hotel.

Much love to you dear, & all success in the lawyering line.

Your smallest of Aunts,
