Our grandfather was just Rev Samuel Lyndall upon his grave stone & I

I’m so glad you had a good time in the country. I am going out next
Friday for the week end the Schutzes at their cottage in Surry. He’s
the head of the Pasture Institute here, & they are delightful people,
I feel I must not lose my one chance of getting out of town. I have
only been out of London once for three days in the last 10 months & I
am playing out rather. I miss seeing on on Sunday. It’s my one
little pleasure.

I wish I could feel as at rest about India as all of you seem to do. I
see a cloud growing & growing. I can hardly bear to think of Ol.

Yes Plum is a dear fellow. I love him.

Good bye dear. I should love to see you here dear.
