5I send you a card I got from Emma. I love to think of you in the quiet
6of Llandrindod. I know you will love the Parkers, & when you have been
7there ten days you will feel as if they were your son & daughter.

9Its so hard I can’t do anything for you dear & you’ve always done
10so much for me – for all of us. You must not be tempted to walk up
11to the lake or do anything till you are quite strong. I wish you could
12go to Nauheim but Llandrindod is the best we can do here, I feel sure.
