4been so bad Alice I couldn’t. Thank you much, so much for the
5splendid long translation.

7May Murray & Dr Parker came to town yesterday to the Colery Hotel.
8Betty has gone to see them. She seems very busy & happy in her
9lectures. Things seem going better to me than they have ever been
10since the war began. I am so glad the Bolshevics will have nothing to
11do with America She had better go in with Japan, but I hope with no one.
