My dear old Brother

Have you any news of Oliver? I have not heard from him since he left,
& have had no letters from Cron for three weeks, which is strange as
he never misses writing every week, & there seem many steamers coming.

I hope you are looking better & feeling it. I’m so glad to hear you
went out of town for the week end.

I was pretty done last week so I went to the Hodgsons’; it was like
life from the dead lying there for two days on a chair in the corner &
breathing the fresh clean air I thought I’d got to the end of every
thing, but am much better.

Dear Mrs Percy Molteno has promised to come & fetch me in her motor on
Friday & take me to Parklands & bring me back on Monday morning by
motor, so I’ll have no walking.

Good bye. You don’t know how much you are to me. Take care of
yourself.
