Dear old Sister

I do hope your cold is better. I am looking forward so to Saturday. If
only it will be fine. My p If you don’t come by train but prefer the
bus take No 22 or No 19 to Hyde Park Corner. There change onto No 2
that will put you down at Golder’s Green just opposite the railway
station
There are generally taxis there, it’s an 8d ride in a taxi
but its a very short walk. You go up the big road North End Rd that
goes up the hill, & the third turning on your right as you come up,
you will see Park Drive written up big, go up that little street & at
the end of it where it makes a sudden turn you will find a big house
with some very big trees beside it & on the gate Alexi. 31 Park on the gate

Its a funny little street in a curve, the first little bit is called
Park Drive, & after the turn it’s called The Park.

The snow here has been wonderful I wish you could have seen it, on the
lawn & the trees in the Park before my window.

I hope there’s fresh news of our boy. I so happy here in this peace
& beauty I don’t even mind being ill – but as Will says I ought to
touch wood. Such peace & rest can’t go on long! Its all been such a
Hell since I came back from that happy time on the Continent, except
the three months I spent with dear May in Wales.

She writes that the cold & snow there are awful now.

Love to them all

Wrap up warm when you come! I send you a little old Omnibus plan, in
case you haven’t yet gone one. You may find it useful going about.
