Dear old Man

I got here this afternoon – every thing seems delightful, the quiet,
the dear little birds pecking about on the lawn – but alas! I left
Tucker in the taxi which brought my things up from the station! I
always take it when I go to a new place where I may have asthma. When
I was in Cape Town I wrote inside the case, that if it was lost & any
one found it it was to be returned to

If any one should by any possibility return it to you here: seeing
your name inside – let me know. I’m going down to Scotland Yard
tomorrow afternoon, but I’ve not much hope of finding it.

I send you a rather sweet little cutting from Anna Purcell’s letter
about Oliver. How every one does love him.
