De Aar

My dear Laddie

I thought your speech on the Woman Question quite good; & it’s
seldom on that subject that anyone’s speech satisfies me! The
woman’s question is so truly just a part of the great democratic
movement, & cannot be rightly looked at or understood in any other way.

I hope you are enjoying to the full the two young ones to the full.
And I hope they drag you off to golf sometimes.

De Aar won at the great match between the different towns & keeps the
cup, much to de Aar’s satisfaction. We are still having good weather
here, but the winds have begun & the summer heat will be on us in a
few days.
